"Moton" Echols raised his large family in the Hebron Community of Banks County which was earlier included in the large County of Franklin. The Echols two story home was located on "Echols Road" within one mile of Hebron Church. This road is now known as "Beasley Road" and does not go through to Georgia Hwy. 326 (at Varner property) as it once did. Travelers on this road had to ford and travel several yards along a small creek. The "Moton" Echols home was located on the left side of the road traveling from the "Hebron Road". A picture exists of the family gathered in front of the home. At some point the Echols family scattered to other parts of Georgia.
