Mrs. Fannie Ray Webb, widow of the late George Webb of this city, died this morning at Adams Hospital. She had been in failing health for some time, her condition becoming critical several days ago. Mrs Webb was 53 years old and had resided in Cordele for a number of years. She was a member of the Methodist Church and a woman of many beautiful Christian traits.
Mrs Webb is survived by one son, William Carl Webb, of Cordele; two brothers, Ed Phillips of Macon, and Olin Phillips of Chipley; two sisters, Mrs R.B. Fort of Hamilton and Bob Hadley of Salem.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Harrison Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 3:30 conducted by Rev. J.M. Outler, pastor of the First Methodist church and interment will be in Sunnyside cemetery.
