Otto was 70 year old, He passed away on a Monday, at Kennestone Hospital from complications of a stroke. Furneral held Wednesday February 21st, 2001 at 2:00 pm at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel. Rev.David Smith officiated. Otto was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the New Riverside Ochre co. He worked in the Minning industry.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Jesse Mae Brookshire
of Acworth, Sons, Wayne, Gary, & Tony Brookshire all of Acworth. Daughter, Jo Ann Lee of Dallas; Brother J.D.Brookshire of Acworth; Sisters, Julie Bell Prather, Evelyn Prather both of Acworth & Katherine White of Taylorsville: 11 Grandchildren, & 12 Great Grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by his Parents Julius & Laura (Dobson) Brookshire, of Acworth. Brother, Junior Lee Brookshire of Acworth. Sisters, Edna May Cronic & Eva Reaid both of Acworth. Otto loved being with his family and enjoyed travaling, hunting and fishing. He seem to always have a smile on his face and had a great attitude.
