Thank you for visiting my Grandma.

My grandma was a Michigan farmer's wife, a very hard life. She used to cook huge meals for the farmers who would come to help with the harvest. When I was growing up, I used to think that she was very impatient and hard to please. I never really understood her until I was much older and was doing research on her life.

She was the oldest of 14 children, which should have told me something! At a young age, she had to work. I admire her now and realize that I knew nothing of her life when I spent the most time with her. I was just too young. She was a good, solid Christian lady who took care of her family, and did a good job of it, too.
