Mary V. Edgar, 70, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Edgar was a member of First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening and was a music lover.
Survivors include her children, Jeanne Barry and Sarah Seymour (Hugh); sister Sharron Henneborn; and grandchildren John and Allison Barry and Jarrett Seymour; mother-in-law Athaline Edgar; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Patrick Edgar and son, James Paul Edgar.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 28 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, South Atlantic Division Inc., 4240 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060-9904.
