L.V. WARNER IS DEAD NEAR ARCOLA
Arcola, April 21 - - L.V. Warner died at his home, on the banks of the Okaw River, three miles west of Arcola, at 8:30 Tuesday night. While he had suffered from diabetes for several months he had been seriously ill for only one week.
The funeral services are to be held at his late home at two o'clock Friday afternoon, and the Interment will be in the Arcola cemetery.
Lynn V. Warner, son of Benjamin and Nancy Warner, was born in Perry County, Ohio, and died at the age of 56 years, 6 months and 26 days. His parents came to Illinois in 1867 and to Arcola in 1869. Mr, Warner has made his home in this community ever since.
In 1892 he was married to Miss Lillian Davis of Arcola, who with five children survives him. The children are: Mrs. Pansy Anderson, Ora, William H., Burton D., and Devilla S. Warner, all residents of this community. Other surviving relatives are his mother, Mrs. Jane Warner, Arcola; one brother, Samuel Y, Warner, of Kemp, and three sisters, Miss Katie Warner of Shreveport, LA; Mrs. James E. Payne, of Tuscola; Mrs Cordella Roberts, who resides in Iowa.
