|Birth: ||Dec. 25, 1887, Hungary|
|Death: ||Jul. 8, 1962|
Amelia was born in Hungary, and came over
as a young woman. She eventually met a
Mr. Kulscar, who was also Hungarian. They
married and had 5 sons. One died very
young, possibly as an infant. I do not
know the name. The known sons were:
Charles (Chuck) Kulscar
b 24 Oct 1909 PA, USA
d 13 May 1991 San Luis Obispo, CA, USA
He left the family home as a young man,
and never returned. He lived in California,
and had a wife(unknown White) and one daughter
that we know of. He and his daughter are both
deceased. She had no children that I'm aware of.
The other children are listed below, except for the unknown son who passed away as a child.
You were a loving and strict mother who made sure that your children were brought up in the church, with a strong moral compass. You also encouraged them to work hard, reach for their dreams, be ambitious, and one day, to be good parents. They did all of those things.
You were a wonderful cook of hungarian foods, including Stuffed Cabbage and Peppers, Chicken Paprikas, baked pastries, and more. I remember the wonderful aromas in your kitchen, and your red and white kitchen table. We ate in the dining room for larger family gatherings. You passed suddenly when I was about ten, on a beautiful summer day. You used to send Uncle Louie out to get me a can of spaghetti for lunch, since you knew I loved it. You spoke with a hungarian accent. Maybe I got my love of flowers and gardening from you. I think of you often, and miss you.
