Motion Picture Producer. Tony Award Winner, and in 2002 Academy Award Winner as producer of the movie "Chicago". He is also known for the Broadway productions included "On The Twentieth Century", "Sweeney Todd", the Pulitzer Prize winner "Crimes of the Heart", "The Norman Conquests", "Grand Hotel", "The Life" and the last musical "Big Maybelle: Soul of the Blues", as well as for having founded the "New York Center for Children" to care for abused children and their families. Among his credit films, "Some of My Best Friends Are ...", "The Boys from Brazil", "The Shining" and "Fort Apache, The Bronx".
