He was known as Frank. He and his wife, Sarah (nee Freton), were married, and had 14 children together. Frank was listed as a farmer in the 1880 Census. By the 1910 Census, only 6 of the children were living. Sadly, between August - September of 1885, Frank, and their children, David, Eleanor, and Nancy died from diphtheria. They also lost twin girls, Margret (and ?? name) in Aug. 1870. Also a daughter Sarah, who I think died of typhoid fever. They were of the Catholic faith, and hopefully that brought them comfort during those difficult times.
