Melford Wayne West.
Funeral services for Melford Wayne West, 20, who lost his life in Vietnam on Jan. 03, 1968 were held from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where he was a member. He gave his life in Vietnam while fighting for our freedom. He was the son of Mrs. Nola Stacy West and the late Monroe West. In addition of his Mother; he leaves five brothers, Julues, Lyon, Fletcher, and Charles all of the Mt. Vernon area.
Burial was in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, near Fulton, MS
