Rites set for J. P. Larson
John P. Larson, 90, Elmore, Minn., died Saturday evening in a Bancroft nursing home.
Born on a farm south of Story City, he farmed in the area before retiring to Elmore. He had been a resident of the Bancroft nursing home for several months.
Mr. Larson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller of Elmore and Mrs. Marjorie Williard of California; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Boyd of Ackley and Mrs. Jennie Olson of Calamus; and a brother, C. C. Larson of Story City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Carrie Ryerson.
