Hopkins Funeral Held Wednesday:
Funeral Service for Carson A Hopkins 94 years old who died Monday Sept 10 was held Wed Sept 12 at Roberts Funeral Chapel at 2pm.
Mr Hopkins was Born Jan 9th 1857 in Lincoln county Missouri. In 1891 he was married to Sarah Ann Means who preceded him in death. Mr. Hopkins joined the Missionary Baptist church in 1897 at Blue Springs,Mo. He is survived by three daughters, Elisa Spencer of Fort Smith Ark.,Rachel Sanders of Columbia, Ky., and Edna Boster of Stilwell; six sons, Carson Hopkins Jr of Wichita Kansas, Jake Hopkins of Los Angeles,Ca, Louis Hopkins and Perry Hopkins of Fort Smith Arkansas, Andy and Alvin of Stilwell: He had 63 Grand Children and 35 Great Grand Children and two great great Grand children.
Burial was in Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Roberts Funeral Home Directing.
