Blake T. Coble Age 47, of South Beaver Township, Blake died unexpectedly in the line of duty, end of watch, on Thursday, October 4, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on November 15, 1964, a son of Tom and Judy (Clegg) Coble of Washington. Blake was the beloved husband for eight years to Brenda (Peeso) Coble; devoted and loving father to James and Savannah Coble; loving brother to Heather (Bob) Frye and Julie (Dave) Elling, both of Washington; loving son-in-law to Rita Kaveney; loving brother-in-law to Jacquie (Pete) Colby, Gina (Bo) Weikle and Jay C. (fiancÚ, Roshell Schenck) Peeso; loving uncle to Jordan, Delaney, Rylee, Rayne, Jessica, Bob Jr. , Summer, Emily, Lexi, Heather and Chad. He was a Trooper 1st Class with the Pennsylvania State Police for 25 years and a member of the F.O.P. Blake had a love for music and was a proud Parrothead and had a zest for life.
Trooper Blake Coble was killed when his patrol car collided with a tractor trailer at the intersection of SR 168 and Blackhawk Road in South Beaver Township, Beaver County, at approximately 10:00 am.
His patrol car was struck after the semi ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed.
He was transported to Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Trooper Coble, who was preparing for retirement, had served with the Pennsylvania State Police for 23 years and was assigned to Troop D, Beaver Station. He is survived by his wife and two children. His wife serves as a dispatcher for the agency.
