A native Washingtonian and a graduate of Princeton University in 1940. An early television station manager who later got in banking and did quite well. Little known was the fact that while in the U.S. Navy during WW II, he did some work to prep for the Allied invasion of North Africa. He was assigned briefly to the O.S.S. (forerunner to the C.I.A.) to help smuggle radio devices. Over the years he was a member of various social and civic organizations. He was also President and a director of the Cedar Hill Corp - a real estate holding company in Suitland, Md. located near or at this cemetery. For that reason and the fact that his mother and father are entombed here, it's likely he is as well, in the private family crypt.
