Actor. He came to Hollywood in 1947 after appearing in several Broadway plays, including "Oklahoma". Rober starred in the 1951 drama "The Well" (1951), a low-budget but earnest plea for racial tolerance. His other credits include "Call Northside 777" (1948), "Any Number Can Play" (1949), "Deported" (1950), "Sierra" (1950), and "The Devil Makes Three" (1952).
