She was the mother of eight children, one died in infancy, one at mature age and her survivors are namely, Nancie, John, Elbert, Perry, Ellison and Fayette.
Mrs. Kelley was not a member of any church, but was a believer in the Christian fundamentals and plan of salvation and when the time came she said she was ready to go without fear.
Mrs. Kelley was a hard working, home-loving woman that could not be surpassed as a neighbor, and possessed all the virtues which have and always will make her kind the salt of the earth. Elder D. M. Niceler officiated in the funeral service at Center Hill last Friday in the presence of relatives, friends and neighbors who had known her all their lives, for most likely there was no person there as old as she. Peace to her soul.
