Mr. Eddie C. Binder age 82 of Binder Drive in London, Kentucky passed away on Friday - October 20, 2006 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center at Corbin, Kentucky. He was born on October 18, 1924 in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of the late Eddie A. & Etsie Jones Binder. He was preceded in death by his first wife Sue Harris Binder. Survivors include his second wife Violet Broughton Binder of London, one son Mike Binder & wife Kathy of London, one brother Donald Binder of London, grandson Chris Binder & wife Kathleen of Lexington, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Binder was a veteran of the United States Navy having served 30 months at Pearl Harbor, a retired car dealer and longtime London businessman, he served on the board of directors of First National Bank in London and was a member of Swiss Colony Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for 18 years
