Daisy was the daughter of William and Jennie Holt Kinney.
Daisy M. Betzer, widow of George W. Betzer, died of heart disease Thursday night at 7:15 o'clock in her home at 718 West Packard street. She had been ill for the past 12 months. The body was taken to the undertaking rooms of L.A. Monson to await funeral arrangements.
Daisy M. Kinney was born Sept 7, 1873 in Indiana. When she was a small child her parents moved to Kansas where she resided until she was a young woman when her family moved to Argenta. She was married to George W. Betzer in 1901 and her home had been in Decatur since that time. She leaves her daughter, Georgia D.Betzer and her step-sons: L.E. and F.C. Betzer of Argenta and Chester R. Betzer of Bethany, also her sister, Mrs. Sadie E. Burgner of Decatur; her brothers, George and Daniel Kinney of Argenta.
Mrs. Betzer was a member of Central Church of Christ and Women's Relief Corps.
