Vance Barnett, a 19-year resident, died Sunday at Hoemako Hospital at the age of 77.
Mr. Barnett was born June 13, 1902 in Braggs, Oklahoma, and lived in Arizona 30 years.
Services for Mr. Barnett will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Cole and Maud Mortuary chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery
Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife, Thelma, of Maricopa; one son, Bill, of Madera, California; three stepdaughters, Genevive Metzer of Plain View, Arkansas, Beulah Withrow, of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Georgia Worthy, of Maricopa; two stepsons, Frank Wallace, of Bellgarden, California and Claud Wallace, of Stockton, California; one sister, Blanche Brown, of Coolidge; one brother, Sam Barnett, of Muskogee, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
