To wife, Jeannet and sons, John, James, Hugh, Joseph and William Wardlaw, he bequeathed the plantation. His daughter, Margaret and son, Robert were also mentioned in the will.
William's will went to probate on Oct 1, 1761 and was proven in May 18 1762.
