The 1810 census revealed Henry had three slaves and they were living in Abbeville County, South Carolina. Household members: Henry (45 & up), Mary (26-44), John (under 10), one male (16-25), one female (under ten) and Jane (10-15).

They had been married thirty-seven years when Henry died on June 12, 1836 in Abbeville County, South Carolina.

The 1850 Slave census revealed Mary Livingston owned one slave aged seventy years.

The 1850 census revealed Mary was a widow and was living with her son John and his family in Abbeville, Abbeville Co, South Carolina. Household members: Mary (75), John L (46), Margaret A (43), John F (20), James W (18), Mary J (16), Sarah M (16), Eliza L (13) and John Anderson (28). Her widowed daughter, Jane lived next door.

Mary was granted a pension on May 3, 1855.

The (S.A.R.) Sons of American Revolution Membership Application revealed Mary was born in 1776 in Edgefield, South Carolina and died on December 21, 1856 in Abbeville County, South Carolina. She was married to Henry Livingston.

Mary lived to about age 80.
