John "Andy" Baxter
In beloved memory of John "Andy" Baxter, Sr., devoted husband and father. Born Oct. 31, 1958 to Murphy Hollis Baxter and the late Betty Jane Gorsuch.
With the love and warmth of his family, Andy went to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, after 35 days of being diagnosed with colon cancer. During these final days Andy's strength and covering for his family was the most impressed concern for his rather than what he was going through. His belief in Jesus Christ gave tremendous comfort and encouragement to us all.
He left behind his wife, Angela of 12 years, two sons, James Morgan and John Andrew, Jr., father, Murphy Hollis Baxter of Houston, brother, Kelly Hollis. Baxter of Austin and sister Jane B. Baxter of Santa Fe., New Mexico. Funeral Services will be held, Friday, November 20, 1998 at 2:00 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel, Rev. Jerry Simmons, officiating, followed by an interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
