ROBERT LEE - Chris Woods passed away on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007 in Austin, Texas.
A family visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Carwile's home at 805 Alice Street in Robert Lee. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at the Robert Lee Baptist Church and burial will follow in Paint Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Chris was born April 18, 1980, in San Angelo to Bill and Janet Woods.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Janet Woods of Robert Lee; a sister, Jennifer of Austin; his grandparents, Bill and Pat Carwile of Robert Lee and Jack and Sunnie Woods of San Angelo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chris attended school in Robert Lee, then went on to graduate from ASU in 2002, and the next day he moved to Austin to pursue a music career. He loved to play guitar and write songs.

He had a big heart and many friends who loved him dearly. Chris will be missed by all who knew him.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Pecan Baptist Church Building Fund.
