Mitzi L. Raida, 52, died Thursday, June 29, 2006, at her home in Thayer, Kansas.

She was born Sept. 25, 1953, in Chanute, Kansas, the daughter of Dean and Anita C. (McLaren) Buster.

She attended elementary school in Earlton, KS, and graduated from Thayer High School in 1971.

She married Randy Raida in Earlton, Kansas on July 13, 1973.

She worked as a cook in the Thayer school system for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jerry Raida and wife, Heather, Thayer, KS; Larry Raida and wife, Stephanie, Thayer, KS; a daughter, Lori Davis and husband, Jimmie, Chanute, KS; seven grandchildren, Lane Raida, 8, Trevor Raida, 6, Wyatt Raida, 4, Tyler Davis, 4, Laryn Raida, 3, Tuker Davis, 2, Shelby Raida, 9 months; two sisters, Linda Norton, Kansas City, MO, and Anita Ehmke, Chanute, KS; and a brother, Greg Buster, Earlton, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral will be July 3, 2006, at Thayer Christian Church, with burial following at Thayer Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Thayer City Library.
