Savanna Jane, 78, was the daughter of David Pryor and Mary Ellen (Platt) Holiman VANCE. She was married to Geo. W. HUGHES; he preceded her in death in Apr. of this year. She was a resident of Coalgate (Coal Co) for many years, coming to Indian Territory when young. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Lee Smith, Wapanucka; Mrs. Bessie Reed, Coalgate, Mrs. Loretta Musgraves, Stroud; two sons: Noble, Casa Grande, AZ; Dewey, Muskogee, 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a half-sister, Mrs. Julia Brown, of Salinas, CA.
