Frank Anthony Wisnewski
Birth: Sep. 14, 1884, Poland
Death: Mar. 28, 1927
Shamokin
Northumberland County
Pennsylvania, USA

Frank was Polish, born in either Russia or Poland (depending on where the border was at the time). He arrived in the U.S. in 1912 and became a citizen in 1919. He died in the Glenbrook Mine, which was owned by Shipman Coal, in March 1927 when he went into the mine with his supervisor and they were both overcome by gas fumes. The picture on this memorial is from his wedding picture and is the only picture any of our family has of him.
