Orman served as a Flight Officer, 10th Troop Carrier Squadron, 60th Troop Carrier Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He resided in Frederick County, Maryland prior to the war.
He enlisted in the Air Force on June 25, 1942 at Olmsted Field, Middletown, PA. He was noted as being employed as a Machinist and also as Single, without dependents.
Orman died in the "Line Of Duty" of injuries received while in training during the war.
