Grace A. Butterfield, age 78, of Springbrook, WI, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Golden Living Valley Nursing Home in Hayward, WI.
She was born on May 18, 1932 in Minong, WI to Albert and Leona (Burlingame) Jones. After graduating from High School she was married to Daniel Bockmeyer and he preceded her in death and she later married Harold Butterfield on April 18, 1956 in Zion, IL. She worked at Hillwood Products in Cook, MN for 10 years and later worked for Wright Products in Rice Lake for 20 years. Grace loved playing the piano and dancing.
Grace is survived by her husband, Harold Butterfield of Springbrook, WI; 2 daughters, Linda Kittleson of Rice Lake, WI and Kathleen Bockmeyer of Hayward, WI; 3 sons, Paul Butterfield of Black Duck, MN, Thomas Butterfield of Springbrook, WI and Harold J. Butterfield of Springbrook, WI; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lillian Butterfield of Shell Lake, WI and Jeanette Butterfield of Wascot, WI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Daniel Bockmeyer; a granddaughter, Ann Marie Catherine Chatfield; a great-granddaughter, Hailey Rose; her parents, Albert and Leona Jones; 3 sisters, Beatrice Lundahl, Violet Jones and Betty Jones; and 2 brothers, Thomas and Albert Jones.
Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Golden Living Valley Nursing Home in Hayward, Rev. Tim Young officiating, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
