The Son of Will C Johson and Thelma Geiger. He was the last born and to die of 4 children. As a young man Ray, use to win Jitterbug dance competitions. He loved to dance. He spoke fluent Mexican Spanish, Puerto Riccan Spanish, and of course his native tongue was American English.

Ray married Ruth Jul 1962, they had 3 daughters Kathy, Linda and Cindy. This was the only marriage he had children from.

After their divorce he married Pearl Hammond of North Carolina on 31 Jul 1971.

After their divorce he married Mary Ann Diaz of New York.

After the Death of Mary in Dec of 2000 he remained single until he was treated for throat cancer. Before entering the hospital in Aug 2, 2007, his girl friend Jean Alexander convinced Ray to get married on August 1. Ray died in the hospital 18 days later.

Served in the US Air Force Reserves first, and then the US Navy which he was released sometime around 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida. While in the service he was a light weight boxer.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge and he was a retired TV repair man. He worked last for Radio Shack and worked most of the longest for Edgewood TV Repair.
