Robert Todd (Bob) Broadbent, 58, died Saturday, June 23, 1984, at his home of a heart attack.
He was born November 27, 1925 in Ogden Utah, a son of Orson Leonard and Florence Todd Broadbent.
He married Marion Marlene Hegstrom on June 11, 1949, in Soda Springs, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple.
They had six children:
At the time of his death he had 12 grandchildren.
At an early age he moved with his family to Star Valley, Wyoming, and later lived in Anaconda, Montana. While living is Anaconda he worked at the Anaconda Copper Mines.
Returning to Ogden, Utah in 1948, he was employed at Defense Depot Ogden, Hertz Heating Company and Hill Air Force Base where he later retired.
He was a member of the Ogden 16th LDS Ward. He was chairman of the Cub Scout committee, served in the elders quorum presidency and was a home teacher.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the US Army in the South Pacific.
