Margaret A. Addleman, 87, of Curwensville, PA passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.

Born November 21, 1923 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Cathryn (McDermott) Pittman.
Mrs. Addleman was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Curwensville Presbyterian Church, and had taught Sunday school for 29 years and had assisted the deacons of the church.

She is survived by three daughters: Patricia A. Ross and her fiancée William Sass, Nancy L. Hipps and her husband Robert both all of Curwensville and Donna M. Straw and her husband Gerald of Middlefield, OH, a son Lloyd B. Addleman and his wife Kathy of Curwensville, twelve grandchildren: Greg Ross, Chad Ross, Randy Ross, Jamie Ross, Mike Hipps, Nena (Hipps) Davis, Gerald Straw, Jr., David Straw, Lloyd Addleman, Jr., Chassidy Addleman, Samantha Addleman and Calvin Addleman, twelve great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren, a twin sister, Cathryn Murphy of Carrolltown, a brother, David Pittman and his wife Darla of Curwensville and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George B. "Blair" Addleman whom she married on August 15, 1944 and who died on February 25, 2005, four brothers, Harry Pittman, Jr., George Pittman, John Pittman, James Pittman and a sister Edith Pittman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Mr. Gary B. Jewart officiating. Interment will be held in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the services.

The family suggests that contributions be made to the Curwensville Presbyterian Church, 430 Locust Street, Curwensville, PA 16833 or the Clearfield Foundation for Health-Hospice, P.O. Box 992, Clearfield, PA 16830
