Nona Clements obituary: Lifetime service, and she was 99. 8/9/1908 - 5/4/2008 She had 7 children
Nona Clements 99, of Barnsdall died 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the Barnsdall Nursing Center. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Barnsdall with the Rev. Phillip Clements officiating. Final committal rites will be accorded Mrs. Clements in the Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall immediately following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Nona was born August 9, 1908 in McComb, Okla. to Albert Andrew and Sally Amanda (Mosley) Redwine. She married Rev. George Clements Sept. 26, 1926. Nona had a lifetime service of being a minister's wife and supporting her children setting a good example. She is survived by four sons, Charles L. and his wife Pam Clements of La Grange, Ga., David and his wife Margaret Clements of Barnsdall, Don Clements of Broken Arrow, and Phillip and his wife Jill Clements of Barnsdall, one daughter, Violet and her husband James Blevins of Lubbock, TX., 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Nona was preceded in death by her husband Rev. George Clements, parents, Albert and Sally Redwine, 2 sons, Kenneth and James Clements, 2 brothers Robert and Otis Redwine, 1 sister, Babe Grisso, and 1 grandchild.
