Guy Edward Graham, 88, of Reno, Nev., died March 5, 2008, at his residence. The Smiths Grove native was born March 27, 1919. He lived in Reno for 27 years. Prior to moving to Reno, he lived in Los Angeles for 25 years. He was a journeyman machinist in drills. He served in World War II from August 1944 to October 1945. He was a tank gunner in Gen. Patton's 3rd Army, Co. C 42nd TK Bn and earned two silver and two bronze medals for heroism. Guy was passionate about his family, loved to travel to and from Kentucky to visit family and friends and was best known for his wonderful personality and terrific sense of humor. Everyone who knew Guy Graham said that he was "always in a good mood." He was a son of the late Hughie Graham and Gertrude Fuller Graham. He was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Graham; a brother, Billy Graham; and three sisters, Ruth Bryant, Edith Madison and Bonnie Waddell.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Simon and her husband, Barry, of Reno, Rhonda Bowers and her
husband, William, of Antioch, Calif., and Alice Thompson and her husband, Chris, of Syracuse, N.Y.; a son, Lloyd
Graham and his wife, Vicki, of Boca Raton, Fla.; four
brothers, James Graham, Benny Graham and his wife,
June, and Arnold Graham and his wife, Jean, all of Bowling Green, and Harvey Graham and his wife, Lorene, of Smiths Grove; five grandchildren, Dakota and Paydon
Thompson of Syracuse, Mitch Prather and his wife, Mary, of Sacramento, Calif., Dana Adams and her husband, Gary, and William Bowers II, all of Antioch; five great-
grandchildren, Michelle Adams, Madeline Prather, Griffin
Prather, Cindy Graham and Amy Graham; and several
nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Hawks Cemetery.
