She was the daughter of Thomas Price and Lufelia (Snow) Simcox. She married Gus Cunningham on Dec. 15, 1915 in McAlester and they lived on a farm in Ashland until moving to Savanna in 1944. She attended Eastern State College at Ada and took courses in millinery. She was a member of Savanna First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school class for many years and was also a member of McAlester and Savanna Home Demonstration Clubs and a seamstress. Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Harlow and Ina Mae Cunningham of Savanna; two grandsons, Clyde Ray Cunningham of Oklahoma City and Farrell Cunningham of Ashland; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two infant sons, Keith and Hoyt Cunningham; a grandson, Dale Cunningham; two brothers, Walter Simcox and Tom Simcox; and three sisters, Myrtle Chitty, Beulah Simcox and Florence Bigger.
