RITA RADICI SHARP, 96, of BRICK, died Saturday, Oct. 20, at Shorrock Garden Care Center, Brick. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. before moving to Brick 16 years ago. She was a secretary for Confraternity of the Precious Blood in Brooklyn for 52 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, Brick.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Sharp in 1997; and two sisters, Rose Trimble and Dorothy Redden. Surviving are her daughter, Margaret Lombardo and her husband, Louis of Brick; son, William Sharp and his wife, Helen of Brooklyn; daughter, Patricia Romeo of Rockhill, S.C.; sister, Lilly Lynch of Long Island, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Route 88, Brick. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Brick. Interment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Confraternity of the Precious Blood, 5300 Ft. Hamilton Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11219, or to St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, 250 Old Squan Road, Brick, NJ 08724, in her memory.
