Frances Marjorie Stainbrook was born November 25, 1919, near Cadmus, Kansas, and departed this life on December 28, 1940 at the age of 21 years, 1 month and 3 days. She died in a car/train wreck that also killed her sister and brother-in-law, Rachel Louise and Roscoe Morrison, and fiance Merle Talley. Her girlhood was spent in the Cadmus community. She graduated from Parker Rural High School in 1939, and was a student in the Lawrence Business College, Lawrence, Kansas. The sisters leave the following relatives: their parents, Aral and Ada Stainbrook; sisters, May Hightower, La Cygne, Fay Talley, Lawrence, and Mildred Ruth of the home; brothers, Richard and Franklin of the home. One grandmother, Mrs. Addie Pellet, and one grandfather, J. F. Stainbrook, Parker, and many other relatives and friends.
