Harry F. Thompson, 63, 1115 Hayes Ave., Sandusky, died Wednesday at his residence after an extended illness.
He retired in 1981 after 22 years as a salesman for Asher Brothers, Sandusky.
He was a member of First Christian Church; Perseverance Lodge 329 F. and A.M., Sandusky City Chapter 72, Sandusky City Council 26; Erie Commandry 23; Royal and Select Masters, 32nd degree Zenobia Temple Valley of Toledo; Firelands Shrine Club; High Twelve Club 174; and Sandusky Bowling Association.
Surviving are his wife, Naomi; a son, Harry D. Thompson, Sr., Sandusky; two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Joyce) Patterson III, and Judy Lynn Thompson, both of Sandusky; six grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Etta Marie Thompson, Sandusky; four brothers, Robert, Jack, Frank Jr., and Allen; and two sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Patricia) Lapata, and Mrs. Sharon Jenks, both of Sandusky.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank, and three sisters.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Andres-Tucker Funeral Home, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where Perseverance Lodge will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Dr. James Iby, First Christian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Shriners Burn and Crippled Children Hospital.
