Mrs. Ida M. Peters, 90, of Stuyvesant Charter Apartments, died Monday following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Peters was a native and lifelong resident of Kingston and was a daughter of the late Gustav and Augusta Thiel Huegel Bode.
Her husband, Henry L. Peters, died in 1952. Mrs. Peters was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Edith M. Peters, with whom she made her home. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. William (Mollie) Marxhausen of Brooklyn, two brothers, George C. Bode of Kingston, Henry J. Bode of Cape Cod; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jenson and Deegan Funeral Home on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Gary Mehl, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Rev. Donald Marxhausen of Amsterdam, a nephew of Mrs. Peters, will officiate. Burial will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
