Funeral services were held here at the Methodist Church, Saturday for Mrs. Laura Hall who died Wednesday, December 3 at the Red Oak Hospital.
Born in Jones County, Iowa, Mrs. Hall was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Nims. She married Charles Hall in Emerson. He passed away in 1920.
She has lived in red Oak for 10 years and was a former Emerson resident for 10 years.
She is survived by two daughter, Mrs. Henry Schlling and Mrs. Harry Ekorscter of Red Oak; a son Russell of Clarinda, a brother Arthur Nims of Emerson; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Moore of Woodbine, Iowa, Mrs. Arthe Norton of Malvern, and Mrs. Stella Anderson of Red Oak. There are two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Emerson Cemetery.
