Bob Iverson, 86, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, in Fort Worth. Funeral: A private committal for the interment of his cremated remains will be held in North Dakota on the registered Sioux Indian Burial Grounds located on the farm of O.E. Iverson, where he played as a little boy. Mr. Iverson's body will lie in state 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Bob suggested a donation to a charity of choice. Cards and letters of sympathy may be sent to his daughter at Box 7293, Fort Worth, Texas 76111. Bob was born Feb. 3, 1924, into a family of eight children in Fargo, N.D., and was reared and educated in the nearby township of Dahlen, a small farming community. Since 1976, he was a memorable sales representative for Greenwood-Mount Olivet Funeral Homes and served the community faithfully. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Marie Tumlinson Iverson. Survivors: Daughter, Susan McCarthy; son, Rusty Iverson; grandchildren, Chris, Kate and Nick; and several nieces and nephews.
