Jimmie Bob Bynum, 71, a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, in Greenwood Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Research Fund, P.O. Box 9709, Fort Worth, Texas 76147.
Jimmie Bob Bynum was born Oct. 4, 1937, in Fort Worth. He was a very hard-working man, often working several jobs to support his family. Jimmie bravely fought cancer for 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nicolle, in 2007, son Jim Bob, in 1999, his parents David Williamson and Annie Brookshire Bynum, and a grandson David Paul Bohanon.
Survivors: Sons, Eric Bynum, Mark Bynum, Anthony Bynum and wife, Amee; daughter, Shirley Bohanon and husband Bobby; brother, Malcome Burklow grandchildren, Andrew, Collin and Laura Bynum, Terry Bohanon and wife Deanna and Teresa Richardson and husband Brad, Nicholas and Christopher Bynum; Three gr-grandcildern, Terry Lee Bohanon,Ryann Talyor Bohanon,Lexaus Bohanon, nieces, Peggy and Pat.
