"The funeral of the late Mrs. M. Mather, relict of the late Mr. S. Mather, took place yesterday afternoon, the remains being interred in the Campbell's Creek Cemetery, in the presence of representatives of the family and many intimate friends. The floral tributes were very numerous. The service at the grave was conducted by Canon Pennicott, and Messrs Niebuhr and Son had charge of the mortuary "

MRS. MARY MATHER
"The death took place at her residence, Lyttleton-street east, yesterday, of Mrs. M. Mather. in her 78th year. The deceased, who was widely respected, had been a resident of the town for over half a century, and leaves four sons and four daughters to mourn their loss, one of the sons being Mr. S. Mather, wood yard proprietor. The funeral takes place this afternoon.
The Friends of the late Mrs. M. Mather are respectfully invited to follow her remains to the place of interment, the Campbell's Creek Cemetery. The cortege will move from her late residence, Lyttleton-street east, THIS DAY, (Monday) at 3.30 p.m. NIEBUHR & SON. UNDERTAKER."
