OBITUARY
Funeral services for William E. BLADES, 51, member of the Homestead High School faculty for the past 2 years, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Crossville Methodist Church.
Mr. BLADES died Tuesday, June 30 at Cumberland Medical Center where he had been for several days. He had been ill for several months.
A native of Kentucky, Mr. BLADES was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a veteran of World War I and had been a member of the faculty of Columbia Military Academy for several years before coming here 2 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Eads BLADES; a son, William E. Jr., Huntsville, Alabama; a daughter, Mrs. William T. MURRAY, Waverly; one grandson just a few days old.
Burial will take place in McCain Cemetery in Maury county.
