His headstone reads "Briely" however his service records note his name as "Brilely".
Peter served as a Sergeant, Company A, 4th Delaware Infantry during the Civil War.
He was "Killed In Action" during the siege of Petersburg and was originally interred in what was know as Fort Hell. His remains were later moved to here.
