Fourth of eleven children of Jesse Fisher and Elizabeth Martin. Married Evaline McLean 17 November 1831 in Pennsylvania. They had seven children, of whom the fourth was Elizabeth Jane Fisher. They came from Nauvoo via Winter Quarters to Utah among the earliest Mormon pioneers, settling in East Mill Creek.
