BESSIE LORENE DAVIS Went home to be with her Heavenly Father December 22, 2007 - age 80. Born January 13, 1927 in Paris, Arkansas. Bessie was married to her beloved husband Kent for 63 years. She was the mother of four children: Carolyn, Wayne, Linda and Maryanne; Grandmother of three grandsons: Christopher, Adam and Jonathan Rogers; mother-in-law to Terry Rogers and Grandmother-in-law to Bambi Rogers. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church for 51 years. Bessie enjoyed travel, reading, crafts and gardening. She devoted her life to her family and home taking wonderful care of her children and helping raise her grandsons. She loved family get-togethers and never missed a chance to celebrate a birthday or holiday with her grandsons. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 27th, 2007 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sorensen Bros Mortuary, 1140 B Street, Hayward.
