Maud E. Brougher, a Portland resident for 49 years, died Thursday in a local hospital at age 92.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Congregational Church, with interment in Rose City Cemetery.
Mrs. Brougher, who lived at 3717 SW Alice St., was born Dec. 2, 1881, in Deep River, Iowa. She was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and was a retired teacher of religious education for the Portland Council of Churches.
She is survived by three daughters, Alice Ross of Portland, Ethel Emerick of Eagle Creek and Catherine Rollins of Beaverton; one son, Robert Brougher of Hayward, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that remembrances be contributed to First Congregational Church. Oregonian January 19, 1974
