Mrs. Irene Colvin, 44, of 2835 NE 65th Avenue, died at Portland sanitarium Saturday night, a few hours after she fell from the car of her husband, Ralph at S. E. 82nd avenue and Stark street.
Patrolmen F. W. Cambas and J. H. Braly reported that Mrs. Colvin apparently fell when her husband applied the car's brakes hurriedly. They said Colvin told them he was traveling about 12 miles an hour.
The death was the 21st traffic fatality in Portland this year. (Oregonian 7-27-1941)
