I have seen some people list Della's first name as "Adelle" with "Della" as the nick name. I have found no evidence that her first name was actually Adelle. Her death certificate and her headstone show her first name as Della. If anyone has information that shows "Adelle" as her first name, please let me know.

Della Amanda (Ralph) Leppla died at the age of 56 on November 3, 1923 at her home on Chicago Ave & Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona due to an enlarged spleen, according to her death certificate. Della had been active in social work, a member of the Madison club, Eastern Star and a member of the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Phoenix, AZ.
