I have seen some people list Della's first name as "Adelle" with "Della" as the nick name. I have found no evidence that her first name was actually Adelle. Her death certificate and her headstone show her first name as Della. If anyone has information that shows "Adelle" as her first name, please let me know.

By 1910 Henry Leppla I and Della had moved their family to Creighton, Arizona, (now part of Phoenix), where they owned citrus groves, as seen in that year's US Census Report. Their three boys eventually married, and two moved away. The middle child, Henry II, and his wife Ruth (Roby) Leppla stayed and raised their children on the citrus groves.
