Born April 5, 1924, in Cleveland, he was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Harvey along with his twin brother, Harry owned and operated Twins Tavern in Mentor and Harmony Bar in Willoughby. He along with his wife enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
Survivors are his daughter, Debbie (Joe) of Mentor; son, Don of Perry; and grandson
D.J. of Perry. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet "Hattie" Peters.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment at Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
